Adult Weaving Classes

Beginner weaving classes are designed to introduce students to the basic skills and tools needed to complete an open round basket.  Registration is taking place for the winter session - January 28 - March 11.

Youth Weaving Classes

	Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Youth Weavers give a demonstration for the Nantucket New School.

To introduce youth to the traditional construction of Nantucket Lightship Baskets, NLBM offers Nantucket Lightship Basket Weaving Classes to youth ages 11 - 16.
Each weaver is given the individual attention required to experience creating a basket like the ones made on the South Shoal Lightship.  Join the fun!.  Beginner, intermediate and experienced weavers welcome.
