May 28 -  The Museum officially opens for the season with the 2010 exhibit "From Folk Art to Fine Art."  Learn about the history of this craft over the last 150 years as the Lightship Basket is traced from the early utilitarian baskets to the precisely woven and intricately adorned baskets that have evolved over time.

July 25 - "Baskets & Bubbly Champagne Brunch and Auction - The elegant surrounds of the Great Hrbor yacht Club are the pefect venue to sip champagne and enjoy good food and company.  The auciton will be conducted by local favorite, Rafael Osona, and features one of a kind baskets and basket related items.

November 20-21 — “Annual Yard Sale” – The island’s premier holiday shopping extravaganza!  Join us at the Nantucket Yacht Club South Beach Street on Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Early bird shopping 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM for a $10 admission fee.  Sunday hours 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

December 3 -4 - Museum and Gift Shop open for Christmas Stroll 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  This is the best kept shopping secret on Nantucket.  Fabulous Christmas ornaments and cards, stocking stuffers and hostess gifts.  Don't miss it.
