November 19 - 20 - “Annual Yard Sale” – The island’s premier shopping extravaganza!  Join us at the Sconset Casino on Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Early bird shopping 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM for a $10 admission fee.  Sunday hours 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Browse through departments of furniture, clothing, linens, kitchen items, hosehold furnishings, art work and much, much more.

December 2 - 3 - "First Annual Nantucket Basket Festival and Sale"  10:00 AM - 4:00 PM -  Stroll over to the museum and see an amazing collection of lightship baskets made by many of the famous names in the basket weaving community.  This is your opportunity to purchase a lightship basket for yourself or as a special holiday gift.  Join our email list and get updates about the baskets that will be sold during this two day event. 

Basket Weaving Classes - Stroll Weekend - Friday December 2

On December 2 from 1 -4, Tim Parsons, acclaimed basekt weaving instructor, will guide you through the steps to weave a miniature ligthship basket frog that can be used to display small flower arrangements.  The class fee is $100 which includes materials.  Call the museum to reserve your space.
